The standard option available for this system includes 5 baskets with 2 trays each.

Offering a payload of 4 tons and 2 tons per basket and tray, respectively, the system is capable of handling most applications and allows you to store remnants thanks to the large number of closely spaced bottom struts.

The solid hot-dip galvanised design of the columns guarantees a long service life.

Each tray can be pulled out from either side, thereby allowing for direct access from the top. This feature makes it possible to store and remove material effortlessly with a crane.

Thanks to the flanged wheels with double bearing the user can easily move the drawers by hand.

The material can be managed using the Böckelt management software.

Today, every company is under enormous pressure when it comes to pricing their products competitively, which forces them to act in the most efficient and economical way. This necessity also affects the in-house flow of material which, according to recent studies, accounts for no less than 60% of the processing times.

We have made it our objective to optimise both the storage and the flow of materials. In addition to concentrating on the highest possible degree of space utilisation, we focus on achieving fast access times, optimised warehouse management and high reliability of operation.

As the warehouse management software with transponder system supports multiple users, the BÖCKELT TOWER allows all employees and departments of the company to share the latest overview of the current stock. Better still, this overview does not only provide information about the material inventories, but also indicates where the material is currently positioned in the BÖCKELT TOWER.

The cassettes are equipped with state-of-the-art RFID technology and are detected automatically as soon they are stowed at the storage location in the BÖCKELT TOWER.

It is possible to assign any number of items, e.g. metal sheets, metal sheet packages, printed circuit boards, remnants, long goods, coils, tools and other types of material to the same cassette.
The sturdy construction of the system guarantees, for instance, a load-bearing capacity of 5,000 kg per cassette when the system is used to store metal sheets. The depalletiser makes it a cinch to store metal sheet packages in the cassettes.

When using the BÖCKELT TOWER exchange tower for storing metal sheets, you will find that the integrated slewing crane and vacuum lifter represent the best possible solution for handling metal sheets at processing machines. Removing individual sheet metal plates from one of the drawers is a breeze thanks to the integrated vacuum suction lifter.

Our system allows companies to link warehouse systems that are spatially separated, creating the option of incorporating dynamic stock-keeping. All it takes to determine the position of items stored in the system is a quick glance at the software overview or the LED display at the storage location in the indicated BÖCKELT TOWER.

The combined slide and cassette storage system allows for a quick change of material and an optimised production process.

The exchange tower BÖCKELT TOWER allows for seamless access to several types of materials without the need for a forklift.

The basic version of the exchange tower is based on a slide system composed of at least 5 levels and offering additional storage thanks to a top-loading option.

The front booms can be pivoted and locked into place using solid machine feet.

This movement brings a rail mount system into position which, in conjunction with flanged wheels with double bearing, allows the user to easily move the drawers, which can be loaded with up to 3 tons of material.

When pulled forward, the material becomes exposed and accessible for extraction by vacuum suction cup or crane.

You can use a forklift to load and unload the drawers of the exchange tower on both sides.

The option to load the tower from both sides provides for greater flexibility in tight spaces notwithstanding the layout of the production facility.

It is possible to place both Böckelt Tower system cassettes and individual metal sheets, wooden pallets or factory packages onto the sturdy drawers.

To expand the exchange tower, you can upgrade it with a BÖCKELT TOWER cassette storage system and utilise the entire height of the room.

Whether used as a stand-alone solution or as a meaningful addition to a larger BÖCKELT TOWER cassette storage system, the exchange tower offers you the additional storage space you need. It allows you to store material close to the machine and exchange it quickly with the help of the drawers.

You can choose either side of the cassette storage system as the operator side. You can access the cassettes with your forklift either from the front or the rear depending on which type of access allows for a more efficient workflow.

Another option is to equip the cassette storage system with the Böckelt transponder system which reports the position of the cassette automatically to the administrative software.

As the entire exchange tower system is fully compatible with the BÖCKELT TOWER software application, the software will deliver constantly updated overviews of your stock.

The cassette storage design guarantees superior stability. This level of stability makes it possible to attach a slewing crane including vacuum suction cup to this extension.

The slewing crane offers a swivel range of 270° and can be extended by up to 6 metres. Installation is possible on all 4 corners of the tower.

The option of combining an exchange tower, a cassette storage system and a slewing crane lets you supply adjacent processing machines with material directly from the exchange tower.

All of these features add up to constant, seamless access to different materials.

Durch Aufschwenken der Türen werden die Auszüge in Position gebracht, das Herausrutschen der Rollen ist ausgeschlossen.

Durch die hochwertigen Laufflächen können die Schubladen leicht von Hand bedient werden, selbst mit einer Beladung von bis zu 3 Tonnen.

Durch vorziehen der Schubladen wird das darauf befindliche Material für die Entnahme mit einem Vakuumsauger oder Kran zugänglich.

Der Wechselturm erhöht die Arbeitssicherheit beim Umgang mit Blechtafeln.

Die Systemkassetten können mit einem Stapler einfach und direkt in die Wechselrahmen eingesetzt werden. Die Schrägen zentrieren die Kassetten seitlich beim Absetzen.

Die Be- und Entladung ist mit einem Stapler beidseitig möglich.

Für eine rückseitige Beladung können die Wechselrahmen mit wenigen Arbeitsschritten gedreht eingesetzt werden.

Unabhängig davon wie die Produktionsstätte aufgebaut ist, bietet die beidseitige Beladung Flexibilität auch in engen Räumlichkeiten.

In den Wechselrahmen können Systemkassetten direkt eingesetzt werden.

Die Verwendung zusätzlicher Lastträger ermöglicht zudem das Einlagern von Holzpaletten oder Werkspaketen.

Einzelne Blechtafeln oder auch ganze Blechpakete können direkt in die Kompaktrahmen eingelegt werden.

Je nach Anforderung können die Schubladensysteme individuell miteinander kombiniert werden.

Als Erweiterung kann der Wechselturm, mit einem Böckelt Tower Kassettenlager aufgestockt werden, um vorhandene Raumhöhen auszunutzen.
Sowohl als Stand Alone Lösung als auch als sinnvolle Ergänzung eines größeren Böckelt Tower Kassettenlagers liefert der Wechselturm so zusätzliche Lagerplätze. Das ermöglicht eine Bevorratung von Material in Maschinennähe sowie einen schnellen Materialwechsel auf den Schubladen.

Die Bedienseite des Kassettenlagers kann frei gewählt werden. Je nachdem was effizienter für den Arbeitsablauf ist, kann von der Front oder Rückseite auf die Kassetten mittels Stapler zugegriffen werden.

Das Kassettenlager kann zusätzlich mit moderner RFID Technologie ausgestattet werden und meldet die Kassettenposition automatisch an die Verwaltungssoftware.

Das gesamte Wechselturmsystem ist mit der Böckelt Tower Software vollständig kompatibel, diese liefert somit einen permanenten Überblick über die Bestände.

Der Kassettenlageraufbau bietet eine enorme Stabilität. So wird es möglich an diese Erweiterung einen Schwenkkran inklusive Vakuumsauger zu befestigen.

Der Schwenkkran mit bis zu 6m Länge bietet einen Schwenkbereich von 270°. Die Montage ist an allen 4 Ecken des Turmes möglich.

The centrepiece of the exchange tower is its variable drawer system. The continuous perforated grid of this solid system makes it possible to load it with a large variety of different drawer types. Additional storage capacity is provided by the system’s top-loading option.

Operating the pivoting doors is quick and easy thanks to the convenient roller lifting device. Mounted on adjustable stops, the device guarantees maximum stability when loaded. The intricate design provides for perfect safety even if handled incorrectly.

The pull-outs are moved into position by pivoting the doors, while the rollers are reliably prevented from slipping out.

The premium sliding surfaces make it a cinch to operate the drawers manually, even if they are subjected to a load of up to 3 tonnes.

When the drawers are pulled forward, the material becomes exposed and accessible for extraction by vacuum suction cup or crane.

Special storage management software and a modern transponder system enable dynamic materials management with the BÖCKELT TOWER® cassette rack. For example, different employees and multiple departments can call up the actual stock levels and view the precise positions of the various materials. Metal sheets / metal plates, entire metal sheet packages, pipes, profiles or other stored goods are assigned to the respective cassette in the BÖCKELT TOWER® cassette rack, and thanks to RFID technology their positions are detected automatically. And thanks to intuitive LED light signals on the individual storage locations, looking for material or cassettes is extremely time-saving.

Material requirements imposed on the BÖCKELT TOWER®, for example by machines, can occur flexibly through use of scanners, mobile and stationary entry terminals or via custom interfaces. The storage cassette with the needed material is highlighted in the system and also signals its target location. In addition an internal logistics job can be generated to support the reliable and efficient material flow.

Moreover, the possibilities of networking physically separated BÖCKELT TOWER® cassette storage systems contribute to dynamic materials management. The cassette rack can also be seamlessly integrated into existing structures and workflows.

The sheet metal storage management software permits deposition of plant certificates and enables analysis of material movements. In addition, the management software offers export functions, chaotic warehousing is enabled and a stack terminal with weighing device can be integrated as an option.

INTELLIGENT TRANSPONDER SYSTEM CONSIDERABLY REDUCES MATERIAL SEARCH TIME
Use of the BÖCKELT TOWER® transponder system minimises the time necessary to find materials and access the storage system. Through assignment of the items, e.g. metal sheets, profiles, pipes, to the cassette you are using – the position will be detected automatically and constantly updated by the system. In conjunction with the sheet metal storage management software Böckelt has developed an absolutely smart and optimal solution for item maintenance, i.e. stock maintenance. The stored metal sheet packages are assigned to the cassette used in the management software. The cassette can be placed randomly in any available storage location in the BÖCKELT TOWER®.

Das BÖCKELT TOWER® Langgutregal ermöglicht die effiziente Lagerung und Bereitstellung von stabförmigem Material. Mit seiner modularen und kompakten Bauweise ist das Langgutlager ideal für lange Profile und Rohre. Verschiedene Grundsysteme können mit unterschiedlichen Körben kombiniert werden.
Die Nutzlast liegt bei bis zu zwei Tonnen pro Korb/Kassette.
